Veronica “Ronnie” Montgomery- Roper, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has practiced for over twenty years working with children, families & adults, and has served in several administrative roles in community youth care organizations. Ronnie has a specific level of expertise in working with children and families involved in the Child Welfare/Foster Care System, Adolescents involved in the Juvenile Justice System, and those with severe behavioral disorders. Additionally, Ronnie’s scope of practice includes working with adults diagnosed with a persistent mental illness, the dually diagnosed, and person’s working through the grief & loss process by using her experience gained from working with Hospice Healthcare Organizations. Ronnie is also an approved qualified supervisor for Social Work Interns with the Florida Board of Health.
Ronnie’s approach to treatment starts with completing a thorough assessment of the client and from there, implementing an eclectic yet individualized style of treatment interventions to include cognitive behavioral therapy, behavior modification, and solution focused therapy techniques.
Ronnie graduated from Florida Atlantic University in Boca, FL and completed her graduate studies at Barry University in Miami Shores, FL where she earned a Master of Social Work.
