Dr. Patterson works individually, with couples, and in groups. She has experience in inpatient and outpatient settings. Her practice has involved diverse diagnoses in treating individuals with depression, bipolar, schizophrenia, anxiety, PTSD, and personality disorders. She is eclectic in her therapeutic practice and aims to meet each person where they are on life’s journey. She finds cognitive-behavioral techniques to be particularly helpful in assisting her clients to change the way they think about themselves, the world and others in order to improve their lives. “Therapy can seem scary, and you are not alone if you feel resistant or reluctant.
