I am a licensed clinical social worker (LSCW) with vast experience of working with individuals, couples and families across the life-span who are seeking a safe, nurturing and collaborative therapeutic relationship. I have experience in a variety of clinical modalities, that include individual, couples, family, adult, and elder care, including working with care givers. My clinical approach is solution-focused and utilize other approaches, depending on client’s own beliefs and needs.
My areas of expertise/experience include working with clients dealing with depression/anxiety, prolonged grief, relational issues, trauma, and cultural/adjustment issues around moving to a new environment. I am passionate about working on improving quality of life personal growth, and development for clients to live their lives to the fullest. My job is to help clients be more successful at recognizing their strengths and weaknesses and working on developing a positive outlook on daily basis.
I am very proud to add that I come from a family of social workers, including freedom fighters back in my own country. Working with them and learning from their experiences has made me what I am today and giving back to society is what I am passionate about.
I do utilize different modalities but work with my clients to identify what approach they feel works best for them. I am also comfortable with helping clients in crisis to stabilize and be able to move forward to their routine life.
