SARASOTA, FL – Comprehensive MedPsych Systems, the largest and most comprehensive multi-disciplinary private behavioral health care group in Florida, announced the addition of board-certified psychiatrist Gabriel Lugo, M.D. to its staff of mental and behavioral health physicians and clinicians. Dr. Lugo joins the Sarasota, Venice, and St. Petersburg offices of Comprehensive MedPsych Systems.
Dr. Lugo is a bilingual psychiatrist, fluent in Spanish and English, double board-certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and General Psychiatry. He has experience in a wide variety of settings and populations including the private and community mental health sectors, in inpatient, day treatment, Community Action Treatment (CAT), and outpatient settings. He is an in-network provider for Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Florida as well as Aetna, Cigna, Humana, United Healthcare, and Medicare, among others.
