Bridget Barnett, PMHNP-BC

Bridget Barnett is a local resident of the Gulf Coast, where she resides with her husband and daughter.  She completed her undergraduate education at the University of South Alabama earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing in 2006, before furthering her education and receiving a Master of Science Degree in Nursing through the University of South Alabama’s Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Program in 2010. She is currently Board Certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. 
Mrs. Barnett has worked in both the community and private sector and is credentialed and experienced in treating patients throughout the lifespan, including both children and adults. 
She received the Director’s Award in community mental health in 2008, the University of South Alabama’s Clinical Excellence Award in her graduate program in 2010, was a member of Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society and is a past recipient of the National Health Service Corps Scholarship and Loan Program for Health Care Providers who serve in their respective communities.  Mrs. Barnett continues to participate in various professional organizations and volunteers for various charity organizations.
