Location: Boca Raton, FL
Dr. Kessler has been a practicing psychiatrist for over 30 years, a Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, former President of the Western Mass Psychiatric Association and former Chief Psychiatrist for the Western Mass VA Healthcare System among other positions. He was educated at Columbia University and the University Of Rochester Medical School, did his Residency at the University of Connecticut and was a Mead-Johnson Fellow. He later taught medical students and residents at the U of Connecticut, UMASS and Tufts medical schools. He is trained in psychiatric diagnosis, psychopharmacology, and various psychotherapies. His approach is person-centered and holistic, working to reduce the impacts of any mental health conditions which may stand in the way of patients being able to meet their life goals.
Conditions treated include, but are not limited to: anxiety, OCD, depression, bipolar disorder, panic, ADHD, PTSD/stress disorders and addiction. Dr Kessler is Board Certified in Psychiatry to treat adults over age 18.
