Anjali A Pathak is a Board Certified Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatrist in Jacksonville, FL.
Dr. Pathak earned her medical degree at Shivaji University in India. She went on to complete her Residency in Pathology at Vaishampayan Memorial Medical College, India. She completed Residency in General Psychiatry at Wayne State University, Michigan and Mount Sinai Services, Elmhurst, New York as well as a Fellowship in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at Mount Sinai Services, Elmhurst, New York. She received her board certification in Psychiatry in 1990 and sub-specialty in Child Adolescent Psychiatry in 1991.
Dr. Pathak is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Psychiatric Association, the Florida Psychiatric Society and the Jacksonville Psychiatric Society. She has been appointed to the Panel of Physicians, Specialty Services, of the State of Florida Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services and serves in the capacity of an Expert Medical Advisor and Certified Physician Provider to the State of Florida Division of Workers’ Compensation. She is an active member of several speaker bureaus, as her schedule will permit.
Dr. Pathak is currently a Psychiatrist with Comprehensive MedPsych System, an outpatient practice where she evaluates and treats children, adolescents and adults. She is also Medical Director for Child and Adolescent services at Riverpoint Behavioral Health. She has participated in numerous multicenter, clinical trial studies assessing the efficacy of medications for the treatment of psychiatric disorders and comorbid conditions. She has also been a Principal Investigator for many clinical trial studies on Depression, Bipolar Disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder in children, adolescents, and adults.
Dr. Pathak is currently an Adjunct Clinical Professor at the University of Florida/Shands. She is involved in the training of Physician Assistant Students from South University and the University of Florida. She is also involved in the training of Child Fellows at the University of Florida and Nurse Practitioner students at the University of North Florida.
Dr. Pathak has served as the President and Secretary of Jacksonville Psychiatry Society. She has also served as the Secretary of the Indo American Medical Forum and as a treasurer for Jacksonville Maharashtra Mandal. Her hobbies include reading, traveling and exercising. She recently ran a marathon to support Breast Cancer.
