CMPS specializes
in a variety of services for children. This includes
neuropsychological evaluation,
psychological evaluation, individual counseling,
and family therapy. With 4 pediatric neuropsychologists,
2 child psychologists, and 1 pediatric mental
health counselor, we can provide in-depth Psychological,
Neuropsychological, Psychoeducational, GIfted
and Custody/Visitation evaluations along with
follow-up treatment as necessary. This
may include evaluation for cognitive dysfunction
(such as secondary to a brain injury), ADHD,
learning disabilities, giftedness, behavioral/emotional
problems, and family dysfunction.
CMPS contracts
with the Florida Center for Child and Family
Development to perform cognitive evaluations
as part of a special state grant funding project
for the identification and diagnosis of children
who suffer from Fetal Alcohol Syndrome.
We have the expertise to
provide custody and forensic evaluations which
examine a child’s
or family member’s emotional stability
as it relates to parenting capabilities and custody
decision-making.
